Val and her husband Pete live in North Cornwall having moved from the Blackdown Hills in Somerset in 2013 with 4 dogs a variety of hens and lots of sheep! We grow 60% of our veg and fruit. The children have all left home and we are now semi retired.

Thought you might like to see a moving post of Berrien!! My first go at moving pictures!! My little house is just up the road where it starts from. As you can see and hear its very quiet.....My other half who took it was standing in the middle of the road at the time! The noise at the end is a car....but not him being run over!!

We can sympathise with your predicament regarding leaking roofs in Berien/Huelgoat area which seems to attract most of the rainfall in Brittany.

We have a house in Quinimilin, a hamlet between Berrien and Huelgoat which suffered from leaking roofs. We have a contact for a local roofer/tiler should you wish to get it fixed and find him most reliable and reasonably priced
